A huge public meeting will be held at the Rangpur Zilla School Ground on the initiative of Jamaat-e-Islami Rangpur district and Rangpur City branch at 3 pm on Friday, July 4^th, 2025, 17 years later. Regarding this public meeting, a press conference was arranged Rangpur under the chairmanship of Vice-principal ATM Azom Khan, the Ameer of Rangpur City Branch at Rangpur Jamaat office at 5.30 pm on Friday afternoon  where journalists of various Medias like print Medias, electronic Medias and online Medias were present. Maulana Abdul Halim, one of the Central Assistant Secretaries General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Rangpur-Dinajpur Regional Director was present at the press conference as chief guest. 17 years later, the meeting will be held to demand the trial of all the murders including Abu Sayeed, the great hero of the 24th revolution, and the fascists, the implementation of the Teesta Great Project and reforms.

 In the speech of chief guest Maulana Abdul Halim said that earlier, this public meeting was scheduled to be held on June 28, 2025. Due to unavoidable reasons, this date has been changed and fixed for July 4, 2025. So, he called for cooperation from all parties, opinions, religions and castes to make the public meeting a success.

It is noted that, respected Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman will glorify the long cherished huge public meeting in Rangpur attending as chief guest. The special guests at the public meeting will be Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Executive Council member and former Secretary General oppressed  public leader ATM Azharul Islam, Central Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Central Assistant Secretary General and Rangpur-Dinajpur Regional Director Maulana Abdul Halim, Dhaka Metropolitan South Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul, Dhaka Metropolitan North Ameer Mohammad Selim Uddin, Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Working Committee member and Rangpur- Dinajpur Region Assistant Regional Team Director Maulana Momtaz Uddin, Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Working Committee member and Rangpur-Dinajpur Region Team Member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal. The special speakers will be Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir's central president Zahidur Islam, central Majlis-e-Shura member and Rangpur district Ameer Professor Muhammad Golam Rabbani. Local leaders will also speak at the meeting among others. The meeting will be presided over by Vice-Principal Maulana ATM Azam Khan, central Majlis-e-Shura member of Jamaat-e-Islami and Rangpur Metropolitan branch Ameer.
