To understand Maula Ali, one must first learn about him—only then can one grasp the philosophy of Maula Ali. He is considered the guardian of the entire Muslim ummah.
According to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), just as he was honoured and revered as the guardian of the ummah, he instructed that Maula Ali be held in the same high regard. This was highlighted by speakers at the Eid-e-Ghadir and Eid-e-Mubahila greetings ceremony.
Organized by Al-Hadi Al-Najib Foundation, the event took place on Sunday at the July Revolution Memorial Hall of the Chattogram Press Club. The program was presided over by the convener of the Ghadir Celebration Committee, Maulana Mohammad Amzad Hossain, and moderated by Dr. Kamrul Hasan Imami.
Distinguished guests were Dr. Md. Nure Alam, Associate Professor of Persian Language and Literature at the University of Chattogram,
Maulana Md. Merajul Islam, Secretary General of Al-Hadi Al-Najib Foundation, Dr. Hafiz Allama Muhammad Mahiul Haque, Principal of Naziria Noemia Mahmudia Fazil Madrasa, Maulana Abdul Mannan Jafri, Maulana Md. Kamal Uddin Taheri, Superintendent of Abdul Qadir Jilani Sunni Dakhil Madrasa.
The guests elaborated on Eid-e-Ghadir Khumm and the significance of Hazrat Maula Ali during the event. It began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an by Engineer Zobayet Haidar. Additionally, devotional poetry (qasida) was melodiously performed by Md. Nur Alam, Syed Ali Azgar Imami Babar, and Rashed Hussain Imami.
The event concluded with a closing munajat by Chairman Maulana Md. Amzad Hossain.
