Memo to UNOs demanding excavation of Noakhali Canal, its channels to remove waterlogging

Leaders from various political parties along with members of the Noakhali Development Forum have jointly submitted memorandums to UNO Officers UNO across all nine upazilas of Noakhali district, demanding excavation of the main Noakhali canal and its branch canals to resolve persistent waterlogging issues.
The mou were submitted simultaneously at 11:00 AM on Monday at the offices of each UNO.
As part of this district-wide initiative, in Kabirhat upazila, the memorandum was handed over to Upazila Nirbahi Officer Pudam Pushpo Chakma and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nigar Sultana by representatives of the Noakhali Development Forum along with BNP-Jamaat activists, student representatives, and leaders from other political parties.
Among those present during the submission in Kabirhat were Kabirhat Municipality BNP Convenor Mostafizur Rahman Manju,
Upazila Jamaat Assistant Secretary Mezbabul Uddin Bhuiyan, journalist Rezaul Karim, Md Abdullah Chowdhury, Md Selim, Kazi Mohin Uddin Robin, Md. Shahid, sudent representatives Imran Hossain, Anjan, and Saiful Islam Nishad, among others.
