Police have recovered the throat slit body of a businessman named Badsha Hossain (55) in Ishwardi. 

 

The body, whose head was severed from the body, was recovered on the Ishwardi-Khulna main railway line in Umirpur area of Ishwardi at 10:30 pm on Monday. Badsha Hossain was the owner of  Mithun Store  at Kaderer More in the residential area of Ishwardi EPZ on Taltala-Pakshi Road.He was also involved in buying and selling land. Badsha Hossain's family alleged that he was taken from the Kaderer More area, killed with his throat slit and left on the railway line. Several people from the Umirpur area said that they suddenly heard people screaming that night.Later, people from the area went and saw the body of a person lying with his head severed next to the railway line. On receiving the news, the Ishwardi Railway Police recovered Badsha Hossain's body after completing the post-mortem report. Badsha Hossain's  son Mithun Hossain said at around 8:30 pm, some people took my father away from Kader intersection at gunpoint. After that, we searched a lot. Later, the police recovered my father body from the railway line with his head severed.Mithun Hossain also said, a few days ago, a large sum of money was demanded from his father over the phone.When he did not pay, the miscreants kidnapped and killed him. Later, the body was left beside the railway line to be treated as a suicide or an accident. Ishwardi Railway Police Station OC Ziaur Rahman told reporters that Badsha Hossain's body has been recovered and sent to the Oabna morgue for an autopsy. Once the autopsy report is received, it will be known whether it was a suicide or a murder. Meanwhile, the sudden and mysterious tragic death of the businessman has raised various questions about law and order situation  in the areas.
