Popular Life Insurance PLC recently hosted an insurance claim cheque distribution and business review meeting at the auditorium of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB).
Company Chairman Mohammad Zahirul Islam Chowdhury attended the event as the chief guest, with Managing Director, CEO, and Bangladesh Insurance Forum President BM Yusuf Ali presiding over the session. Independent Director Mostofa Jamal Hossain, FCA, was present as the special guest, while Additional Managing Director BM Shaukat Ali addressed the gathering as a speaker.
The programme was also attended by Additional Managing Director (Chief Auditor) Nanda Bhattacharya, Additional Managing Director and Company Secretary Mostofa Helal Kabir, Senior DMDs Syed Motahar Hossain, Md. Nowsher Ali Naim, and Md. Abu Taher, CFO S.M. Arafin Kader, and DMDs Md. Kamal Hossain Mohsin, Mohammad Khalilur Rahman Sikder, and Mohammad Enamul Haque, alongside other senior company officials.
Discussions during the meeting focused on evaluating business performance and outlining future operational targets. The event concluded with the chief guest formally handing over insurance claim cheques to policyholders.
