Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, Faridpur district and city branches, organized a reception for meritorious students who achieved GPA-5 in the SSC/Dakhil and equivalent examinations.
At around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, an event was held at Kabi Jasimuddin Hall in the city, which included a discussion session followed by a reception for about 800 GPA-5 achievers.
The program was presided over by Islami Chhatra Shibir Faridpur President Akmal Hossain, with the chief guest speech delivered by Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Central Secretary General Nurul Islam Saddam. Other speakers included former Islami Chhatra Shibir City Committee President Dr. Ehsanur Mahmud Rubel, Abdullah Al Mamun, General Secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Mymensingh University Branch, and Abdullah Al Mahim.
In their speeches, the speakers congratulated the students for achieving GPA-5 in the SSC/Dakhil and equivalent examinations. They stated that the entire nation is grateful for the success earned through ten years of hard work. Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir feels honored to present this reception. The speakers encouraged the students to keep progressing in the future, to start working from now, and to develop their leadership qualities to lead Bangladesh in the days to come.
In the next segment of the program, about 800 meritorious students were presented with crests, certificates, and gifts.
Islamic songs were performed by the Jhankar Artists’ Group. The event was conducted by Raihan Kabir Onik, former president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, Government Rajendra College. Meritorious students and their guardians attended the ceremony.
