Samapthi Islam of Ishwardi gets chance at Justus Liebig University with scholarship

Samapthi Islam Soma, a talented native of Baghoil village in Ishwardi, Pabna, has enrolled at the renowned Justus Liebig University Giessen in Germany after securing a full scholarship for higher education. She is the youngest daughter of Sirajul Islam Sardar—a member of the BNP Central Executive Committee, former Member of Parliament, and Freedom Fighter—and Selina Islam Siraj.
It is reported that Samapthi has officially commenced her first-year classes for the Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in 'Economics of Global Risk'—a course conducted entirely in English—for the 2026 winter semester. She secured this prestigious placement and the full scholarship via the waiting list after successfully meeting all prerequisites and legal requirements set by the higher education admission regulations (HHZVO) of the German state of Hesse and the specific selection process of Justus Liebig University.
This international achievement by Samapthi Islam Soma has brought great joy to her family, relatives, classmates, and the residents of Ishwardi. Her family, relatives, leaders of the Ishwardi Upazila Press Club, and local residents have requested prayers from everyone for her continued success and a bright future. Samapthi departed for Germany from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka in the early hours of October 3, 2026.
