Satkhira 33 BGB provides relief assistance to helpless people affected by heavy rains, disasters

Border Guard Bangladesh has been providing humanitarian assistance to the affected people in various border areas due to heavy rains and floods in different parts of the country in the recent past. In continuation of this, Satkhira Battalion (33 BGB) has been carrying out border security duties as well as providing relief to 50 areas of the Satkhira border affected by heavy rains and floods.
Provided relief assistance to families.
On Tuesday noon, the relief assistance was provided by Kazi Ashikur Rahman, Commander of the Satkhira Battalion (33 BGB), among the affected poor and helpless families of the Baikari Union of Satkhira Sadar Upazila at the Baikari (Dakshin Para) Government Primary School grounds.
At this time, 50 packets of dry food items including 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of soybean oil, 1 kg of pulses, 1 kg of chickpeas and jaggery were distributed among 50 affected families.
At this time, Satkhira Battalion (33 BGB) Commander Kazi Ashiqur Rahman said, "BGB is committed to standing by the people in any disaster and humanitarian crisis in the country. Satkhira Battalion (33 BGB) will continue rescue, relief and humanitarian assistance activities to ensure the lives, safety and welfare of the affected people until the situation returns to normal."
