Two arrested with 213 bottles of liquor in special army drive in Madhabpur

Two drug dealers along with 213 bottles of liquor have been arrested in a special operation by the army in Madhabpur, Habiganj. The operation was conducted in the Muktijoddha Chattar area of Jagadishpur Union of the upazila on Sunday morning under the leadership of the Madhabpur Army Camp Commander. The arrested persons are: Sumon Sarkar (27) of RD Hall area of Madhabpur Municipality and Md. Sharif Uddin (39) of Anwarpur village of Sadar Upazila.
According to sources at Madhabpur Army Camp, the two arrested persons have been handed over to Madhabpur Police Station along with the recovered liquor. In this regard, Madhabpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Shahid Ullah said that a case will be filed against the arrested persons under the Narcotics Control Act and sent to court.
