The shop of poor grocery shopkeeper Abul Kalam at Talimpur Kadamtala intersection of Naihati Union in Rupsha was burnt down in a fire The equipment and supplies of his business.On Saturday morning,
U.N.O Akash Kumar Kundu met Kalam after inspecting his burnt shop. He provided Tk 5,000 as cash assistance at the initiative of the upazila administration. Later, initiatives have been taken to obtain other government assistance.
Naihati Union (Acting) Chairman Iliasur Rahman and other dignitaries were present at the time.
