As part of the central program marking the anniversary of the July mass uprising, which saw the fall of Awami fascism and the victory of students and the people, a grand victory rally was brought out in Faridpur town under the leadership of Faridpur District BNP Senior Joint Convener Afzal Hossain Khan Palash.
On Wednesday at around 4 p.m., thousands of leaders and activists from BNP and its affiliate organizations joined the massive rally, which started from Post Office Mor in the town and paraded through important roads of Faridpur. Later, a gathering was held at Janata Bank Mor.
District BNP Senior Joint Convener Afzal Hossain Khan Palash delivered the keynote speech as the chief guest. Special guests addressing the rally included District BNP Joint Convener Syed Zulfiqar Hossain Jewel, Joint Convener Delwar Hossain Dila, District Jubo Dal General Secretary Md. Jahangir Hossain, District Swechchhasebak Dal Convener Mozammel Hossain Mithu, and Metropolitan Swechchhasebak Dal Member Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman Sabuj.
Also present on the occasion were District BNP Joint Convener Advocate Ali Ashraf Nannu, Metropolitan BNP Joint Convener A.B. Siddiqui Mitul, Fattah Ul Islam Fatta, Mohammad Shamim Hossain, District Jubo Dal Senior Vice President K.M. Jafar, Mamunur Rashid Babu, Chairman Nurul Alam, and leaders of various affiliated organizations.
