A workers’ conference of the Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal along with a membership renewal and new member enrollment drive, was inaugurated in Dohar Upazila of Dhaka.
The event was held on Friday afternoon at Kalema Square in the upazila, with Dhaka District BNP President Khandaker Abu Ashfaq attending as the chief guest.
In his speech, Ashfaq said, “All the mothers and sisters sitting before me are the reflection of Begum Khaleda Zia. It is because of you that the BNP remains so vibrant and inspired.”
The conference was presided over by Dohar Upazila Women’s Wing President Shampa Akter, conducted by General Secretary Minu Akter, and organized with the overall cooperation of Rubina Raj.
Among others present were Dohar Upazila BNP General Secretary Masud Parvez, Nawabganj Upazila BNP Office Secretary Arshin Mahmud, Dhaka District Jubo Dal Senior Vice-President Abul Hashem Bepari, and Matsyajibi Dal Convener Ramzan Hossain Molla.
