In Mirsarai of Chattogram, winter clothes were distributed among cold-affected people on behalf of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
The distribution took place at 4:00 pm on Sunday in Rasulpur village of No. 2 Hinguli Union of the upazila, where winter clothes were distributed among more than a hundred people.
Sheikh Shahadat Hossain, Joint Secretary General of the Zia Parishad Central Committee, was present as the chief guest at the distribution program. Former Upazila BNP Organizing Secretary Mosharraf Hossain and former Mirsarai Upazila Jubo Dal Convener Shahinul Islam Swapan were present as special guests, among others.
At that time, chief guest Sheikh Shahadat Hossain said, “This distribution of winter clothes has been arranged on behalf of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman so that ordinary people do not suffer in the severe cold. Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP always stands by the helpless people in their difficult times.” He further said that this winter clothing distribution program will continue throughout the upazila.
