Alhaj Md. Faisal Ahmed Sarker, the repeatedly elected former councilor of Ward No. 15 under Gazipur City Corporation and Joint Convenor of Mahanagar Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal, has recently announced a unique humanitarian initiative to sponsor 10 individuals to perform the Omrah Hajj every year

He made this announcement during a vibrant and community-engaging courtyard meeting (Utthan Baithak) held with local elderly residents in front of the Jagda Sarker Bari Central Jame Mosque.

The meeting served as a platform for detailed discussions regarding the development of Ward No. 15, addressing pressing civic issues, maintaining social harmony, and outlining future development plans.

Local dignitaries, elders, Islamic scholars (Alem-Olama), social workers, political and social leaders, youth, and people from all walks of life participated in the event.

During the session, attending residents highlighted their various problems, demands, and suggestions. Former Councilor Faisal Ahmed Sarker listened to them attentively and assured them of phased solutions.

While speaking at the meeting, Sarker stated that every year, under his personal initiative and funding, 10 individuals from Ward No. 15 will be given the opportunity to perform the Omrah Hajj. Following this announcement, the attending residents expressed their immense joy and satisfaction, welcoming the initiative with applause.

Sarker added that the love and trust of the people are his true strength. He committed to working tirelessly, just as in the past, to ensure infrastructural development, roads, drainage systems, safe drinking water, cleanliness, education, religious institutions, sports, and social security in the area.

At the same time, he sought everyone’s cooperation to build an ideal ward free from drugs, terrorism, and social crimes.
