Coast Guard distributes relief among storm-affected coastal families

The Bangladesh Coast Guard has distributed emergency relief materials and medical supplies among vulnerable families affected by the ongoing adverse weather conditions across coastal districts.
Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujan, Media Officer of the Bangladesh Coast Guard Headquarters informed this on Saturday noon.
The press release said, alongside executing active rescue operations during extreme weather anomalies, the maritime law enforcement force remains committed to delivering essential humanitarian assistance to affected citizens.
As part of the deployment, Coast Guard Base Chattogram distributed a comprehensive relief package on Friday, July 10, to 100 families suffering from severe waterlogging induced by a week of continuous torrential downpours in the Banshkhali upazila of Chattogram.
In a separate drive on Saturday morning , the Coast Guard Station Hatia dispatched emergency medical aid, oral rehydration salts (ORS), and dry food rations to multiple storm-hit families at Katakhali village under Hatia Police Station in Noakhali.
