Pre-litigation mediation to resolve cases being implemented in 12 dists from Sept 18

The first pre-litigation mediation system to resolve cases quickly and reduce the pressure of cases is being implemented as a pilot project in 12 districts from September 18.
The path of this initiative has been specified by making the mediation section stricter before some questions. These include: family rent opposition, maintenance of husband and mother, dowry complaints, alimony, opposition related to divorce, request for female custody, mutual opposition between husband and wife.
Before forming a group on all these issues, the party should try to resolve them through mediation. If mediation takes place, only then can questions be asked in criminal cases.
This pilot project is being tried initially in 12 districts. Districts: Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Sunamganj, Faridpur, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Satkhira, Kushtia, Comilla, Nowali, Rangamati.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul on the allegations of this project in Sylhet said on Wednesday , “This initiative is going to be a major milestone in reducing the length and complexity of trials.
The trial of the court is a trial. Sometimes it is delayed for years after the discussion. In many cases, it is possible to resolve the issue through discussion without any questions, but the solution method is not assigned. As a result of this new rule, an opportunity will be created for discussion between the disputing parties and a quick solution will be found.
If the pilot project is implemented, this militant mediation program will be launched in all the districts of the country. It will save time and cost, and it will also be much more natural for the courts.
A private party Congress Federal Mini for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union's Art Street Network for Justice for Women Project, GIZ Bangladesh are in technical conditions.
