Mirzapur Police Station gets new OC Rashedul Islam

Md. Rashedul Islam has joined Mirzapur Police Station in Tangail as the new Officer-in-Charge (OC). Previously, he was attached to Mirzapur Police Station yesterday, Monday (May 05) afternoon.
Before this, he served in Purbadhola Police Station in Netrokona district. He was last working in Dhaka CID.First, he was appointed as SI in Bangladesh Police Force in 2010. As a sub-inspector, he worked in several police units including DMP and CID.
He was born in Sarishabari Upazila of Jamalpur district. He did his honours and masters from Dhaka College. In his personal life, he is the father of two daughters.The newly joined OC Md. Rashedul Islam said that steps will be taken to control drug abuse and various criminal activities including eve-teasing in Mirzapur Upazila with the overall cooperation of people from all walks of life.
