A mass rally and protest march have been organized in Nilphamari on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the July Uprising.

This program was organized by the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Nilphamari District Branch at the Nilphamari DC intersection this Saturday afternoon.

The rally was chaired by District Jamaat Ameer and Nilphamari-1 MP Principal Maulana Abdus Sattar and moderated by District Jamaat Secretary Maulana Antazul Islam. Nilphamari-2 MP Advocate Alfaruk Abdul Latif, Nilphamari-4 MP Hafez Abdul Muntakim, District Jamaat Assistant Secretary Professor Anwarul Islam, District Jamaat Working Committee member and Nilphamari Municipality mayoral candidate Muktijoddha Moniruzzaman Montu, Jaldhaka Upazila Jamaat Ameer Mokhlesur Rahman, District Workers Welfare Federation President Lecturer Moniruzzaman Jewel, etc. addressed the gathering.

Abdus Sattar, MP from Nilphamari-1 constituency, said that until the referendum is implemented and the July Charter is reformed, the people of Bangladesh cannot be stopped from all kinds of politics. The people of Bangladesh are still ready to give blood again for the activities that the current government has already started. They are ready to free the country from the grip of this new fascism.

He said the current government is once again walking towards the birth of a new fascism. Recently, it has been observed that the government is thinking of developing the state structure by ignoring and excluding the elected members of parliament of the opposition party.

After the mass rally, a huge protest procession left the area and circled the city's main roads before ending at the market traffic intersection
