Mosharraf Hossain Jewel, Mymensingh

The bi-annual conference of the Mymensingh District North, South, and Metropolitan branches of Islami Andolan Bangladesh was held on Tuesday afternoon at the Al Karimul Complex Mosque Ground near the Dhaka Bypass Intersection.

Mufti Yakub Sayeed, Vice President of the Mymensingh Metropolitan branch, presided over the event, which featured Senior Nayeb Ameer Mufti Syed Faizul Karim as the chief guest. Joint Secretary General Shah Iftekhar Tariq and Central Organizing Secretary for the Mymensingh Division Md. Alamgir Hossain Talukder attended as special guests. Other speakers included Mymensingh North District President Alhaj Hadiul Islam, South District Acting President Md. Saifullah Mansur, and Metropolitan Branch Secretary Md. Anwar Hossain. The programme was hosted by Ariful Islam Jewel, General Secretary of the Mymensingh Metropolitan Youth Movement.

Following the conference, chief guest Mufti Syed Faizul Karim announced the newly formed committees and administered the oath of office to the newly appointed leaders.

The newly announced leadership includes Mufti Golam Maula Bhuiyan as President and Azizul Haque Azadi as Secretary for the Mymensingh North District. For the Mymensingh South District, Mufti Yakub Sayeed was named President alongside Secretary Maulana Fazlul Karim. Additionally, Alhaj Hadiul Islam and Alhaj Anwar Hossain were named President and Secretary respectively for the Mymensingh Metropolitan Committee.

Leaders and activists from the North and South branches of Islami Andolan Bangladesh participated in the conference.
