Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Assistant Secretary General and Rangpur-Dinajpur Regional Director Maulana Abdul Halim said that if the July Charter is not respected, all the MPs, ministers and prime ministers of this parliament will become illegal. 70 percent of the country's people voted in favor of the July reforms in the national election.

The ruling party is now acting hypocritically by denying this verdict. If the people's vote of the referendum is not respected, the government will not be able to survive. Therefore, the July Reforms Commission must be formed and the July Charter must be implemented immediately. If this is implemented, it will be good for all parties; no single party will have the upper hand. I hope the government will come to its senses in this matter.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at a day-long Training Camp organized by the ward president and secretaries of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Rangpur Metropolitan Branch at a local auditorium on Friday.

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee member and Rangpur Metropolitan Ameer Vice-Principal Maulana ATM Azom Khan presided over the training camp. The special guests at the day-long Teaching Camp were Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee Member and Rangpur-Dinajpur Region Assistant Director Maulana Momtaz Uddin, Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee Member and Rangpur-Dinajpur Region Team Member and Rangpur-3 Sadar Constituency Member of Parliament Prof Mahbubur Rahman Belal, Jamaat-e-Islami Rangpur Metropolitan Secretary Anwarul Haque Kajal, Metropolitan Assistant Secretary Al Amin Hasan, Dinajpur District Assistant Secretary Rajibur Rahman Palash, Rangpur Metropolitan Working Committee Member Maulana Abu Bakar Siddique.
