3 armed men hijack journalist's motorcycle in Baraigram

Three armed men hijacked Journalist Shakil Ahmed's motorcycle in Baraigram upazila of Natore. It was occurred at around 8 pm on Saturday night in the Agran Sutirpar area of the Bonpara Hatikumrul highway of the upazila. Shakil Ahmed is the Natore correspondent of Bijoy TV and the son of Firoz Ahmed of Lakshipur village of Baraigram upazila.
The victim journalist said that he was returning home from Bonpara when he reached at the Majhgaon Union Parishad area on the Bonpara-Hatikumrul highway. From there, three youths on a red Discover 135cc bike followed him. At one point, when he reached Sutirpar area, they stopped his vehicle and took away his blue Pulsar 150cc bike with Bijoy TV stickers at gunpoint. The incident has been reported to the OC of Baraigram Police Station and Bonpara Highway Police Station. They have assured to take necessary action in this regard.
