59 DU students honoured for outstanding contributions to research

In recognition of the outstanding contribution of Dhaka University in the international arena and the increasing visibility of the university, 59 teachers/researchers who have received 2,000 or more citations on their Google Scholar profiles are being honoured.
They will be honored at a ceremony organized at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Building of Dhaka University on Thursday at 11:00 am. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam will be present as the chief guest at the ceremony.
The event will be presided over by Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Abdus Salam, while Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani and Treasurer Prof Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury will address as special guests. Deans of all faculties, chairmen of all departments, directors of all institutes and centers, proctors and honored teachers/researchers will be present at the event.
