Md. Abdul Hakim Natore

Whip of the Bangladesh National Parliament and Member of Parliament for Natore-2 (Sadar), Advocate Md. Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, has stated that the agriculture-friendly government, led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, is actively working toward the development of farmers.

He made these remarks while addressing a distribution ceremony for agricultural incentives as the chief guest at the Natore Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium at 12:00 PM on Saturday.

Highlighting the government's initiatives, the Whip stated, "A canal excavation program is being implemented nationwide to ensure agricultural prosperity. Through this excavation, irrigation systems are being modernized and made easily accessible. So far, agricultural loans for farmers have been waived up to 10,000 taka. Additionally, 'Farmer Cards' have been introduced to provide various benefits, including agricultural loans and direct incentives."

The ceremony was presided over by Natore Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Azhar Ali. Natore District Council Administrator Rahim Newaz attended the event as a special guest. Other speakers included Upazila Engineer Milon Miah, Upazila Agriculture Officer Nilima Jahan, and District Farmers' Group Convener Hasan Ali.

Later in the afternoon, Whip Dulu laid the foundation stone for a new building at the "Md. Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu Maha Vidyalaya" in the Shankarbag area of Natore Sadar.

Presided over by College Principal Kazi Riazul Haque Momin, the inauguration ceremony featured an address by Whip Dulu as the chief guest. Other speakers at the event included former Natore Municipality Mayor Kazi Shah Alam, District BNP Joint Convener Mostafizur Rahman Shahin, Saiful Islam Aftab, member Nasim Uddin Nasim, Sadar Police Station BNP Convener Rafiqul Islam Master, and District Jubo Dal President G. H. Talukder Dalim.
