Bangladesh-Malaysia friendship long-standing, built on mutual trust: Health Minister

Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain has stated that the friendship between Bangladesh and Malaysia is long-standing and firmly rooted in mutual trust.
He also noted that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s recent visit to Malaysia has further strengthened the existing friendly ties between the two nations.
The minister made these remarks while serving as the chief guest at an event titled "Towards a Stronger Bangladesh-Malaysia Partnership," organized by the Malaysia-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) at the Sheraton Hotel in Banani, Dhaka on Saturday.
Addressing the program, Malaysian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Shuhuda Othman echoed sentiments regarding the enduring friendship between the two countries. She emphasized the significance of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's recent visit, stating it will play a crucial role in propelling bilateral relations to new heights.
The event was also attended by Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Administrator Md. Fazlul Hoque as a special guest.
