BNP leader UP Chairman Habibur killed in road accident in Patnitala

BNP leader and Najipur Union Parishad Chairman Habibur Rahman (Mintu) was killed on the spot in a road accident in Patnitala, Naogaon. According to police and local residents, the incident took place on Thursday at 3 pm in the Ramjibanpur area of the Najipur Notunhat-Gaganpur regional road of the upazila.
The deceased Habibur Rahman was riding a motorcycle from his home in Najipur to Gaganpur Bazar when he was crushed by a lorry loaded with chalk.
It is learnt that the deceased's house is on the west side of the raw market adjacent to Dhamirhat Road at the Nojipur bus stand in the Nojipur municipality of the upazila.
The incident spread on social media (Facebook) and the area was in mourning. BNP leader Shamsujoha Khan and BNP leader Khawaja Nazibullah Chowdhury expressed their condolences.
Patnitala Police Station OC Shah Md. Enayetur Rahman confirmed the truth of the above incident.
