Bulls, cows distributed for socio-economic dev among small ethnic groups in Joypurhat

Bulls and cows have been distributed for the socio-economic development of backward small ethnic groups living in the plains of Akkelpur, Joypurhat.
The cows were distributed among 11 beneficiary families at around 2:30 pm on Thursday at the initiative of the Upazila Livestock Office.
Akkelpur UNO Manjurul Islam, Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. Amirul Islam and Transport Officer, Tahura Yasmin, among others, were present.
The Upazila Livestock Office said that in order to improve the living standards of the small ethnic groups, each person has been given a bull and a cow. If any cow is sick or diseased, the Upazila Livestock Office will provide assistance for its treatment.
