CAB also say that the Local Government organisations including Kishoreganj Municipality , could not show any change in mosquito control activities and garbage collection.
Due to the laxity with which all these activities were carried out, the municipality residents are now suffering from serious diseases like dengue and chikungunya.
After, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) , Administrator of Kishoreganj Municipality, Nahid Hasan Khan took charge, efforts were made to speed up the cleanliness activities, but they did not gain momentum.
CAB district president Alam Sarowar Tito said that, a study by IEDCR has revealed that the density (gross index) of Aedes mosquito larvae in that to get rid of mosquito-borne diseases, there is no alternative to destroying mosquito breeding grounds.
There is no alternative to destroying the clear water accumulated in the Municipalities drains, canals and houses, which are also the breeding grounds of Aedes mosquitoes.
However, as the long-standing practice of lifting garbage from drains and sewers and placing it on the streets continues, the garbage in the drains is going back into the drains. And the existence of a large number of cleaning workers is also not fully visible. To protect kishoreganj from the dangers of mosquito-borne diseases, the Municipality authorities will have to jump into an urgent cross-programme involving the local administration, political, social and cultural organizations as well as the municipal residents.

During the Corona period or any other pandemic, there has been virtually no visible initiative from the administration to stop the festival of cutting people's pockets by creating an artificial crisis over lab tests, medicines and even dubs. Which is very disappointing and inhumane.
In this situation, they demanded that the government increase surveillance in the health sector and quickly introduce a free testing system.
