Citizens' Council's Oct 13 strike called off in Bandarban

The morning and evening hartal called by the Citizens' Council in Bandarban on Monday has been withdrawn.
On Sunday at 3 pm, at the request of the administration, the chairman of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Citizens' Council, Kazi Md. Mujibur Rahman, made this announcement after a meeting with the leaders of the Citizens' Council.
At that time, he said that we are peace-loving people and want peace, but we called for a hartal to achieve our demands and people from all walks of life in Bandarban supported the hartal. However, if the hartal is used as an excuse in the name of implementation, then a stricter program will be announced. Besides, Deputy Commissioner Abu Taleb SM Hasan and Nagorik Parishad Chairman Kazi Mujibur Rahman and senior leaders were present. After an hour-long discussion in the meeting, the hartal was withdrawn after being reassured.
