Coast Guard has seized 4 -kg of cannabis worth Tk 1.2 lakh in Bhola and one drug dealer was detained
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq informed this in a press release on Monday that the Bangladesh Coast Guard detained a drug dealer with 4 kilograms of cannabis worth approximately Tk 1,20,000 in Bhola.
Acting on a tip-off, members of the Coast Guard Base Bhola conducted a special operation at Ilisha Launch Terminal under Bhola Sadar Police Station around 6:00 AM on Monday. During the operation, one suspect was searched and arrested with the seized cannabis.
The confiscated drugs and the detainee are currently undergoing legal processing for further action.
