A coordination meeting on the implementation of the Children Act 2013 was held in Chapainawabganj.
The meeting was held in the conference room of the District Judge Court on Wednesday afternoon.
"Strengthening Capacity of Judicial System for Child (SARC)" Project, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and UNICEF Bangladesh & Chapainawabganj Judicial Department jointly organized this meeting.
The newly appointed Senior District and Sessions Judge Md. Mijanur Rahman presided over the meeting. The newly appointed Judge (District and Sessions Judge) Children’s Court Md. Hayder Ali Khondokar spoke as the keynote speaker.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Kumar Shipon Modak, Superintendent of Police Rezaul Karim BPM, Deputy Director of District Social Services Office Umme Kulsoom, Child Protection Officer of UNICEF (Rajshahi and Rangpur Division) Jesmin Hossain, UNICEF (Justice for Children Child Protection Section) National Expert Mohammad Delwar Hossain, Field Coordinator - Justice for Children Abu Hena Mustafa Kamal and others also spoke in the meeting.
The program was conducted by District Legal Aid Officer (Senior Assistant Judge) Rukhsana Khanam.
