 Dean's Award and Merit Award  was presented for the first time at Begum Rokeya University Rangpur.

These Dean's Award and Merit Award were presented to students who achieved outstanding results in the final examination of the 2019-2020 academic year in all faculties and departments. 

On last Sunday afternoon, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Mohammad Shawkat Ali, was present as the chief guest in the virtual classroom of Academic Building-2 and presented these honorary mementos, certificates and checks to the students of the departments under 6 faculties.

At this time, Prof  Dr. Mohammad Shawkat Ali  said that today is a memorable day for Begum Rokeya University. He congratulated all the students who achieved outstanding results at the undergraduate level. The Vice-Chancellor said that the certificates received today are very valuable for the students. The motivation to achieve honors and certificates will take the students a long way. He said that the students will get the proper evaluation of this success in the future. The university will prosper further through those who have left their mark on Shaheed Abu Saeed Campus Begum Rokeya University.

It is mentioned that in the final examination of the undergraduate (honors) of the 2019-2020 academic year, 4 students who achieved the highest results among the faculties were awarded the Dean's Award-2025 and 17 students who achieved the highest results among the departments were awarded the Merit Award-2025.

 The ceremony was presided over by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, and Registrar Dr. Mohammad Harun-or Rashid were present among others. At the end, the Vice-Chancellor distributed scholarship checks among the studying students.
