
Discussion meeting organized by Zia Mancha in Faridpur

A discussion meeting and introduction of the newly -elected committee of Zia Mancha Faridpur District Branch was held on Thursday at 11 AM in the conference room of the District Council.
Presided over by Abdulllah Al Mamun, President of Zia Mancha Faridpur District Branch, the event featured M.T. Akhtar Tutul, Joint General Secretary of Zia Mancha Central Committee and a prominent BNP leader, as the chief guest.
Others present included AFM Kaiyum Jongi, Convener of Faridpur Metropolitan BNP; Sajjad Ahmed Shawn, Organizational Secretary of Zia Mancha Central Committee for Faridpur Division; Syed Mohammad Ibrahim Ali, General Secretary of Zia Mancha Faridpur District Branch; Senior Vice-Presidents Sirajul Islam, Mohammad Yasin Sheikh, and Aminul Islam; Senior Joint General Secretaries Mohammad Mashrafi Ahmed, ABM Morshed Palash, Khairul Hasan, and Md. Abid Hossain; Organizational Secretaries Saidul Islam Saeed, Kamruzzaman Badr, and Kazi Shahadat Mahmud; Legal Affairs Secretary Advocate Sakhawat Hossain, along with others.
During the meeting, speakers highlighted various activities of Zia Mancha, stating that it will not allow the rise of any fascist forces in Bangladesh. They emphasized the need to establish Zia Mancha Faridpur District Branch as a role model for other districts.
The speakers stressed that to maintain the democratic process in Bangladesh, elections must be organized promptly to restore people’s voting rights. They noted that the country cannot function under an unelected government for long and underscored the urgent need for an elected government to guide the nation on a democratic path.
The speakers called upon all leaders and activists who believe in nationalism to work together in unity.
