District administration destroys truckl oad of unripe mangoes in Satkhira

The district administration has seized and destroyed a truck of unripe mangoes in Satkhira while they were trying to market. The operation was conducted on the Satkhira bypass road at 10 am Saturday.
The leaders and activists of the anti-discrimination student movement first identified the matter based on secret information. Later, they seized a truck carrying mangoes and informed the district administration. The truck contained a total of 400 carats of unripe Gobindabhog variety mangoes.Satkhira Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shoaib Ahmad said, "The district administration has set a specific time for marketing Gobindabhog mangoes in Satkhira. But before that, some unscrupulous traders were trying to market the mangoes.
