District HUB office inaugurated in Kurigram

This program was organized by Udayankur Sheba Sangstha and Hub Kurigram under the Supporting the Unity and Sustainability of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to Uphold Human Rights, National Integrity and Rule of Law in Bangladesh project, in collaboration with ActionAid Bangladesh and the Center for Peace and Justice, BRAC University, with a joint grant from the European Union donor agency.
The Hub has long been working to establish a cohesive network of civil society organizations at the district level to work together on important issues such as human rights, good governance, and social justice.
To contribute to long-term sustainable development where every person enjoys equal dignity, rights and social security in society. At the same time, its main goal is to establish connections and advocate with other like-minded networks, government departments, non-governmental organizations and donor agencies, including CSOs, at the local and national levels.
Professor Kazi Shafiqur Rahman, Principal of Kurigram Government Women's College, was present as the chief guest.
Shahjalal Sabuj, Principal of Vision Polytechnic Institute, Sadiqur Rahman, Acting Forest Officer of Kurigram, and M Rashid Ali, General Secretary of Kurigram Hub, Chairman of the Green Village Foundation, were present as special guests.
Kurigram District Hub President and Afad Director Saida Yasmin presided over the event. Upazila Academic Supervisor Mizanur Rahman, Anjan Roy, ActionAid Bangladesh, USS District Coordinator Rabiul Islam among others were present.
