While they were extracting sand from the river in the Sandaghat area of Padmanadhi in Ishwardi, unidentified armed terrorists accidentally fired indiscriminately and beat them with sticks, fatally injuring 7 Jubo Dal members and daily day labourers on Thursday morning.
The injured are Chapal Sardar, son of deceased Anar Ali of Rooppur in Ishwardi, a day laborer and Jubo Dal member of Messrs.
Biswas Enterprise, Lalu and Sana Ullah alias Degar, Ripon, son of Hazrat Ali of Golap Nagar in Bheramara police station, Russell, son of Shaheen Alam of the same area, Saikat, son of
deceased Shukur Ali, and Selim, son of German of Bheramara.
Among them, Selim has been admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital and the rest to Ishwardi Hospital. Eyewitnesses
