Farewell and Annual Prayer Ceremony Held in Nakla

An annual prayer and farewell program was held at Chandrakona College in Nakla upazila of Sherpur on Sunday. On the occasion of the upcoming HSC examination, a discussion was held at the college auditorium. The program was organized by teachers and students of the college.
Acting Principal Khandaker Ariful Alam presided and Professor Mahbub Hossain Rupom conducted the program. Governing Body members Rubel Mia and Masuda Akter, teacher's representatives Professor Nazir Ahmed and Professor Jayanta Kumar Deb, student's representatives Robin Mia and Jerin Akter and others spoke.
College governing body members, department heads, teachers and staff, examinees, students from all classes, guardians, local dignitaries and journalists of different media were also present.
After the discussion, a special prayer was offered for the success of the HSC examinees. The prayer was led by local mosque Imam Maulana Mufti Masud joined by all attendees.
