Former general decretary of Mirzapur Municipal Chhatra League Wakil arrested

Police arrested Wakil Ahmed, former joint convener of Mirzapur Upazila Chhatra League and General Secretary of Municipal Chhatra League. Tangail Model Police police arrested him from a restaurant in Tangail Sadar on Sunday night. Wakil Ahmed is the son of Haji Abdul Alim Alal of Bawar Kumarjani village in Upazila Sadar.
SI of Police Model Police Station Rezaul Karim said, an attack on students took place during the anti-discrimination movement at Tangail Sadar Police Station. In that incident, a student named Abir filed a case with Tangail Police Station as a complainant.
Tangail Model Police Station OC Tanvir Ahmed said, the arrested lawyer, Wakil Ahmed, who admitted the truth of the incident, was sent to jail through the court on Monday.
