The Gopalganj Sadar Upazila UNO M Rakibul Hasan has distributed sports equipment to 24 educational institutions on Wednesday at 10 a.m. during a ceremony held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium.

In his speech as Chief Guest , the UNO said, “Sports are not just for physical exercise or enjoyment; they play a crucial role in the mental and physical development of students. A healthy body fosters a sound mind, and individuals with sound minds can lead the nation forward.”
The event was chaired by Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Selim Talukdar and moderated by Upazila Academic Supervisor Arun Chandra Mondal. Other speakers included Upazila Statistics Officer Ujjwal Biswas and Upazila Food Controller Ismail Hossain, among others.
Headteachers, assistant teachers, and staff from various schools in Sadar Upazila attended the program.
