Human chain in Shibganj demanding release of journalist Wahed Fakir

A human chain and protest rally was held at Shaheed Mir Mugdha Square on Tuesday afternoon, organized by the Shibganj Press Club in Bogura, to protest the arrest of journalist Wahed Fakir, demanding his unconditional release and withdrawal of the case.
The human chain was held withn Shibganj Press Club President Abdur Rouf Rubel in the chair.
It was addressed by Shibganj Press Club General Secretary Paban Kumar Roy, journalists Rabiul Islam Robi, Nurul Amin Talukder, Bazlur Rahman, Saju Mia, Mohammad Ali, Kamrul Hasan, Shahjahan Ali, GM Mizan, Mizanur Rahman, Faruk Ahmed, Sohag Ahmed, Abdur Rahman, Golzar Rahman, Baki Billah, Kanak Deb, Minhaj Uddin, Shekhar Chandra, Golam Rabbani Shipon, Anisar Rahman Dulal, Mainul Islam, Wadud Hossain, Zahurul Islam Saikat, Rabbi Hasan Sumon, Mahmudul Hasan Touhid, Raisul Islam Roni, Zahidul Islam, Fazlul Haque Jewel, Nur Alam, Uthpal Kumar, Sohel Rana, Abdur Rahim, Nahid Islam, Shafiul Alam Dew.
The said program and protest rally demanded the unconditional release of journalist Wahed Fakir. If the false case is not withdrawn, a larger movement will be called later with the participation of the journalist community.
