I want to take this institution forward with my utmost talent, said the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) Prof Golam Rabbani,
He said, ‘I want to take the university forward with my utmost effort and sincerity.’ He said these during a courtesy call and exchange of views with Nobi University Reporters Unity on Monday.
Members of the Reporters Unity were present at the meeting held in the conference room of the university's Vice Chancellor. Prof Golam Rabbani said, ‘It will take some time for me to get to know the overall environment, students, teachers and officials of the University. Everything is new to me. It will take some time to understand everything. But changes need to be made, and I will work hard for that change.’
The Vice Chancellor said, ‘Since my family is not here, I have the opportunity to give more time to the university. ‘There is an opportunity to give time to the students 24 hours a day.
In the meeting, members of the Nobiprabi Reporters Unity highlighted various aspects of campus journalism, obstacles in news gathering and various issues related to the interests of students.
