Indian Prof calls on DU VC to discuss academic collaboration

Prof. Dr. Mosses Naga of North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Meghalaya, India, paid a courtesy call on Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, at the VC’s residence office on Sunday.
During the meeting, Prof Dr. Muhammad Mezbah-ul-Islam of the Department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka, was also present.
The discussion focused on initiating joint educational and research collaborations between the two universities. Both parties emphasized the importance of faculty, student, and researcher exchange programs to strengthen bilateral academic ties.
They reached a mutual understanding to soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize the proposed collaboration.
