Jamaat Ameer in Rangpur : Islamic law will provide equal rights in society
Md. Mafiz Uddin Sarker, Rangpur
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Our brother Shah Alam of Rangpur fell in the lap of death in Suhrawardyadi Udyan while attending the national convention of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in Dhaka on July 19 with the aspiration to establish the rule of the Quran in the land of Allah. You will complete his unfinished work, Insha Allah.
He said this in his speech as the chief guest at a gathering organized at Mominpur High School and College grounds on Monday before visiting the grave of the late Shah Alam in Moktar Para village of Mominpur Union in Rangpur Sadar Upazila.
It is mentioned that the late Shah Alam, the president of the Diploma Krishibid Forum of Rangpur Metropolitan Police Station-2, died of a heart attack at Suhrawardyadi Udyan on July 19th while attending the National Assembly of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in Dhaka.

By the infinite grace of Allah, he has returned to us from the gallows."
He said, addressing the politicians, "Those who extort through politics are bloodsuckers and oppressors. Rather than this, you beg and eat. You will get respect. We ourselves do not extort, we will not let anyone do it." He said, "We will not oppress anyone unjustly. We will fight for the farmers, workers, laborers, and hardworking people. We will stand with them. If we form a government with the love of the people, we will not take any additional benefits of car ownership, nor will we let anyone do it."
He said, "If Islamic law is introduced in society, a woman will travel a thousand miles alone safely. People of all classes, religions, and castes will enjoy equal rights in the society. This is the law of Allah.
