May Day observed at Dohar Press Club: Food, clothes distributed among workers

The historic May Day was observed with due dignity in Dohar, Dhaka. On Thursday (May 1), a special event was organized at the premises of the Dohar Press Club, where food and clothing were distributed among laborers. The humanitarian initiative was taken by Tarek Hossain and implemented by the Dohar Press Club.The event was graced by the presence of OC of Dohar Police Station, Rezaul Karim, as the chief guest. OC (Investigation) Md. Nurunnabi, Mahmudpur Police Outpost In-Charge Md. Hannan, President of Dohar Press Club Muhammad Tarek Rajib, Senior Vice-President Mahabubur Rahman Tipu, Vice-President Oli Ahmed, General Secretary Ataur Rahman Sani, Joint General Secretary Abu Nayeem Mohammad Taimia, along with all other members of the club were present. Speakers at the event remarked that such initiatives are shining examples of honoring working-class people in society. Programs like this play a significant role in establishing the rights and dignity of laborers.At the end of the program, food and clothing items were distributed among the workers. The laborers expressed joy and gratitude for this humanitarian effort.
