The cover of the newly registered monthly "Mirsarai Parikrama" magazine has been unveiled and its website has been launched. The official inauguration was held on Friday afternoon at Upazila Agriculture Office conference room with the cutting of the ribbon and cake.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by Deputy Attorney General and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's nominated MP candidate for Mirsarai constituency in Chittagong-1, Adv Saifur Rahman, Executive Director of Development Organization APKA, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Mirsarai Upazila Ameer Maulana Nurul Kabir, Upazila Education Officer AKM Fazlul Haque, Headmaster of Maruf Model High School Nazim Uddin, Mirsarai Municipality Jamaat Ameer Maulana Shihab Uddin, Playwright Moin Uddin Aham Chowdhury Selim, and Fortnightly Khabarika Editor Mahbub Palash.
Present at the event were Waji Ullah, founding member of Mirsarai Press Club, M. Moin Uddin, editor of the monthly Mirsarai and general secretary of Mirsarai Press Club.
The speakers at the event said, "Geographically, Mirsarai is an important upazila of the country. It is important in many ways, including as an economic center, on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. Journalists constantly bring out all the information about the problems, prospects, and development of Mirsarai upazila in their writings. Journalists have to play an important role in eliminating all irregularities in the society.
Deputy Attorney General Adv Saifur Rahman inaugurated the website of the monthly Mirsarai Parikrama magazine at the event. After the discussion meeting, the guests officially inaugurated the Mirsarai Parikrama magazine by cutting a cake."
