MoU signed between DU, Nanjing University of China

A memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the University of Dhaka and Nanjing University of China with the aim of conducting joint collaborative educational and research activities on Monday .
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University, Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, and Chairman of the CPC Council of Nanjing University, Professor Tan Tieniu, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
The signing ceremony, held at the Vice-Chancellor’s office, was attended by Dhaka University Treasurer Professor Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, deans from various faculties, and members of the delegation from Nanjing University.
According to the MoU, Dhaka University and Nanjing University will jointly work to advance education and scientific research. The agreement includes the exchange of educational and research equipment, data, publications, as well as faculty members, researchers, and students between the two universities. Additionally, both institutions will jointly organize seminars, symposiums, and conferences.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan expressed his gratitude to the Nanjing University authorities for signing the MoU. He stated that Bangladesh and China have long maintained friendly relations, and he hoped that this MoU would further strengthen those ties. Emphasizing the importance of mutual cooperation, he stressed the need for more collaborative educational and research initiatives between the two universities.
