MP Dr. Masud stands by Bauphal fire victims

Local MP Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud has stood by the traders affected by the fire in Bauphal, Patuakhali. In addition to inquiring about them, he extended a helping hand with cash, tin cans and food items on Thursday morning.
MP Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud visited the traders affected by the fire at Sabupura Bazar in Baga Union of the upazila. During this time, he provided financial assistance of 7,500 taka each to the owners of 5 affected businesses and one house. In addition, two bun tins were distributed to each and 30 kg of rice to each family.
Addressing the victims, MP Masud said, "Our efforts are very small compared to your losses. Still, we have come to your side as a part of consolation. InshaAllah, we will be by your side in any problem you may have in the future."
Present at the event were Bauphal Upazila PIO Rafiqul Islam, Bauphal Upazila Jamaat Ameer Maulana Rafiqul Islam, Boga Union Parishad Panel Chairman Md. Jamal Hossain, Boga Union Jamaat Ameer Maulana Shahidul Islam, former Central Dawah Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir Adv Mujahidul Islam, former Office Secretary of Patuakhali District Chhatra Shibir Mujahidul Islam, along with local public representatives, political leaders and dignitaries.
