Jhenaidah Sadar Police recovered the half-decayed body of the victim Toaz Ali with both legs tied and covered with a mattress recently.

At that time, injury marks were observed on his head and body. Dried black blood stains were seen on the pillow and mattress used by Toaz Ali. In addition, the words "Who killed him because he abused Muhammad (PBUH) and spoke badly about him? Allahu Akbar" were written on the wall of the victim's house. It was believed that at any time after 08.00 am on September 1, 2025 to 3.30 pm on September 3, 2025, the unknown accused or accused killed the deceased victim Toaz Ali and fled by locking the door and outside the main gate to hide the body. His brother Md. Akachch Ali filed a murder case with Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station as a plaintiff regarding the murder. Police Inspector (retd) Mohammad Zahirul Islam of Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station was given the responsibility of investigating the case. The incident of the murder was widely publicized through various media and social media, creating a huge stir in the public mind in the area.

The Superintendent of Police, Jhenaidah immediately ordered the Sadar Police Station to unravel the main mystery of the murder and arrest the accused involved and sent a team from the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell, Jhenaidah to the spot. The Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle), the Investigating Officer of the Jhenaidah murder case, continued to monitor and provide instructions to the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell. In continuation of that, complete information regarding the murder incident was collected.

Based on the information received, a smart team of Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station and Cyber Crime Investigation Cell, DB Jhenaidah conducted a raid in Batiaghata Police Station area of Khulna district on 22/09/25 at 12.30 pm and arrested the main accused of the murder, Tanvir Hasan (18), father- Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Sang- Kamarganya, Police Station- Kotwali, District- Jashore.

According to his confession, the evidence used in the murder was a stone seal and the marker pen used to write "Who killed him because he insulted Muhammad (PBUH) and said bad things in his name? Allahu Akbar" on the wall of the victim's house to divert the motive of the murder. During interrogation, the accused said that he met the deceased Towaz Uddin in 2022. Since the deceased Toaz Uddin did not have a wife or children, they developed a homosexual relationship. He used to visit the victim's house in Dhaka and his village house at different times.

On September 1, 2025, the deceased victim Toaz Uddin and the accused Tanvir Hasan came to the victim's own house in Keshabpur village. That night, the deceased victim Toaz Uddin forcibly established an immoral relationship (homosexuality) with the accused Tanvir Hasan and slept on the bed. Angered by this, the accused Tanvir repeatedly hit the victim on the head with the seal stone of the seal pata next to him, tied his legs and took the victim's mobile phone from outside the house, locked it and threw the key in a nearby pond. The accused Tanvir, who was arrested, said that he took Tk 4,770 from the victim's Bikash from Jashore and threw the mobile phone into the Bhairab River.

When the accused was sent to the learned court after interrogation, he gave a confessional statement describing the sensational murder.
