Newly elected MP Jahandar Ali holds ameeting with govt officials in Rajoir

Newly elected MP Jahandar Ali Mia of Rajoir Upazila met with government officials in an important meeting. The meeting was held at 11 am on Thursday in the conference room of the UNO office.
The meeting was presided over by UNO Md. Mahfuzul Haque. At the beginning, the newly elected MP was welcomed by the upazila administration with floral greetings. Later, the MP got acquainted with the officials of various departments present and exchanged greetings.
The meeting discussed in detail the overall development picture of Rajoir Upazila, progress of ongoing government projects, education, health, agriculture, livestock, social security programs, infrastructure development and law and order situation. Officials of the concerned departments highlighted the current activities, challenges and future plans of their respective departments.
Member of Parliament Jahandar Ali Mia said in his speech,
"All government departments must work together to ensure sustainable development of the upazila and maintain peace and order. Transparency and accountability must be ensured in the implementation of development projects. Officials must play a sincere and responsible role in ensuring that public services reach the doorsteps of the people quickly and without harassment."
He further said that good coordination between public representatives and the administration is very important in implementing the government's development plans. He called on everyone, regardless of party affiliation, to work together to fulfill the expectations of the people.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Aminul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC), Rajoir Police Station; Dr. Md. Sirajul Islam, Upazila Livestock Officer; Md. Fazlul, Upazila Secondary Education Officer; Badshah Faisal, Upazila Social Service Officer; and officials from various departments.

The meeting emphasized on maintaining the law and order situation in the upazila, completing ongoing development projects quickly and in a quality manner, and ensuring transparency and accountability in government services. Finally, the meeting was declared closed by expressing the determination to work together for the overall development and public welfare of the upazila.
