One arrested with 14,000 pieces of Yaba from bus in Bogrua

The Special Response Battalion (SRB-12) has arrested a drug dealer named Md. Farhad Hossain (29) with 14,000 pieces of intoxicating Yaba tablets while searching a passenger bus from the Matidali Bimanmore area of Bogra Sadar Upazila.
He was arrested at a check post set up on the highway adjacent to the Karatoya Pump at Matidali Bimanmore at around 2:40 am on Tuesday. The arrested Farhad Hossain is the son of Md. Harez Ali of Sonapur village in Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat.
A press release sent by SRB-12 said that based on a secret tip-off that a person was coming with a huge consignment of Yaba in a passenger bus bound for Joypurhat from Dhaka, a smart expeditionary team of CPSC Bogra conducted an anti-narcotics check post on the highway. At that time, Farhad Hossain was arrested after searching the suspicious bus and 14,000 pieces of Yaba tablets were recovered from him.
