Porsha Upazila BNP President Mozammel Shah Chowdhury suspended

Mozammel Shah Chowdhury, the president of Porsha Upazila BNP in Naogaon, has been temporarily expelled. The matter was confirmed through a letter signed by District BNP General Secretary Mamunur Rahman Ripon on Saturday.
The expulsion letter states, "For spreading false propaganda against the party's top leader and violating party discipline, your party title has been suspended and you have been temporarily expelled from the party. From today, you have been instructed to refrain from all party activities and all leaders, activists, organs and associate organizations have been instructed not to have any contact with you."
Naogaon District BNP General Secretary Mamunur Rahman Ripon confirmed the matter to Kalbela. He also posted the matter himself from the Facebook account of District BNP General Secretary Mamunur Rahman Ripon, under the name Mamunur Rahman Ripon.
When asked about this, Mozammel Shah Chowdhury told the The Country Today "I have not spread false propaganda against any top leader or violated party discipline. And I should have been given a show cause notice for at least an hour. However, I do not know how the district leader expelled me in such a hurry. The way I was expelled is not right at all. I also do not know whether I was temporarily expelled because I have not received any letter or any district leader has confirmed the matter.
